Why is our source of DHA so special?

Our all natural eggs are from hens fed a special DHA-rich diet. Three to four Gold Circle Farms eggs provide the same amount of DHA as a three-ounce serving of salmon. Consuming just one serving of salmon a week has been associated with heart benefits. Incorporating Gold Circle Farms eggs into your diet will increase your DHA supply so you can enjoy the health benefits of DHA.

Quality Control
The carefully selected farms that produce Gold Circle Farms eggs must:
Forward weekly samples of production for laboratory analysis to ensure the eggs meet our high quality standards for nutrition and farm fresh taste.
As a minimum, meet United Egg Producers "Totally Quality Assurance Program" ("5-STAR" program).
Follow our patented feed protocol to ensure the hens get the high quality vegetarian feed necessary for Gold Circle Farms great tasting, extra nutritious eggs.
Ensure the hens are given proper water quality to maximize egg quality.
Meet Kosher requirements.
Follow all federal regulations prohibiting the use of hormones.

Farming
We are committed to deliver fresh and extra nutritious eggs across the United States. As a result, we are working with farmers from coast to coast. Our carefully selected farms currently reside in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana and California. To illustrate the quality of our producers, our single largest supplier of cage free Gold Circle Farms eggs was selected as "The Egg Producer of the Year" in 2000.
To move the eggs from our farms to the customers we depend heavily on our network of farmers. They know best how to transport such delicate products as eggs. For the eggs our farmers can't deliver, we trust a limited number of specialized contractors to do the job for us.

Comparisons
We've restored the nutritional value that ordinary eggs have lost by feeding our hens a healthier, all-natural vegetarian diet. That's why they taste better too.
Each egg contains 6 times more vitamin E than regular eggs
150 mg of DHA-Omega-3 (vs. only 18mg in an ordinary egg)
